Winemaker
With a commitment to sustainable farming practices, natural winemaking and a focus on making wines from Rhone varietals, Bryan Kane has established himself as an awarding winning winemaker at Vie and Sol Rouge, as well as, being recognized as one of the “Next Generation of Cult Winemakers” by Sommelier Magazine. Overseeing the winemaking process at The Winery SF, Bryan brings a philosophy of “making wine in the field” by searching out yet to be discovered vineyards and working with viticulturists to produce a great selection of wines at a value conscious price point.

This Sauvignon Blanc has a perfumed nose evoking orchard fruit and a note of lemon. Soft on the attack, it offers ripe fruit flavors on the palate with good acidity, freshness, and a lasting finish.

The vineyard-designated Reserve Chardonnay is a big step up in quality. It is flavorful with ripe orchard fruit, melon, butterscotch and toasted grain. It has a lovely rich mouth feel with good flavor concentration and a long persistent finish.

Silver Medal - 8th Annual American Fine Wine Competition (2015)
The People’s blend combines Zinfandel, Syrah, Mourvedre and small amounts of other varieties. It offers dark plum aromas with a hint of cooking spices on the nose. It offers good flavor on the palate with firm tannins and some astringency at this stage of development
