Ohui (meaning 'place of meeting') is the home of Ohui Vineyard, a boutique vineyard, hand-tended by family and friends to make quality and refined wine. Together with the meeting of land and people, Ohui Vineyard has come to be one of the finest artisan wineries in the Coromandel. As a recognition of this, we've been awarded a silver medal at the 2009 Royal Easter Show with our Reserve Greta Chardonnay (this is our first and only competition we've entered into). So no matter what your favourite Ohui wine is, you'll be getting a wonderful taste of the Coromandel!
The vineyard is on the east coast of the Coromandel, nestled between Pauanui and Opoutere.

Practices & Techniques
It’s all done by hand, under the guidance of our talented viticulturist Jayden Blomfield, who is passionate about Organics and sustainability. Reaping the artisan approach to winemaking, and delivering a wine that is synonymous with the Coromandel. By truck it is delivered into the hands of Ohui ‘s winemaker Hayden Penny, based in the Hawkes Bay. With his attention to detail and using only the best in organic processes, he is able to create a fine, delicate and full flavoured wine.

Ohui proudly supports the protection of the NZ Dotteral, sustainability and organic processes.
