Winemaker
No doubt the quince paste will find its way onto one of the popular antipasto platters, offered to appreciative wine lovers on weekends. Clearly Stephen equates quality food and fine wine as important companions in his quest to offer the perfect experience for his visitors. Step inside the mudbrick building at Lovegrove Vineyard & Winery and you immediately feel the intimacy and warmth.
On the walls of the mudbrick tasting room is the current art exhibition on show by local artists. Stephen has made a lot of friends in this business and believes that what he offers people is not just wine but an experience.
He believes that keeping it simple has been one of the keys to his success, and absolute persistence. “What people like is coming to the cellar door and talking to the wine maker”.
