Vineyard Manager & Founding Winemaker
Luke graduated from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Fruit Science and a minor in Wine and Viticulture. Luke is committed to sustainable vineyard practices and the elemental belief that great wine begins in the vineyards, in the quality of the fruit and in the characteristics of its terroir.
Time marches on, and certainly as our place here in the sun (or shade, depending on the time of day or season!) has grown and evolved, so has the younger generation of the Left Coast Cellars family.
Estate Vineyards / AVA
The remainder of the property is preserved as one of the last stands of old growth white oak trees in the area and also contains fruit orchards and streams. The bodies of water attract migrating birds and encourage birds of prey, helping to balance animal life in the vineyards.
