Antonopoulos Vineyards


The "Antonopoulos Vineyards" is a creation of Konstantinos Antonopoulos, a man who believed in the extraordinary quality potential of the Peloponnese soil and particularly the mountainous and semi-mountainous Achaia synteinontas their becoming superior quality wine production areas. A new, modern winery recently built Royal Achaia, where is the main vineyards of the company. The remaining vineyards extend in the region of Achaia in altitudes ranging from 150-900 meters. The "Antonopoulos Vineyards" exploiting acres of vineyards in the Peloponnese, some of which are proprietary and some belonging to wine growers who permanently cooperate with the winery for many years, following cultivation instructions of agronomists. The main concern of the winery is the emergence of unique indigenous varieties of Greece while creating high-quality products from international varieties. The winery produces white and red wines at a ratio of 80-20% respectively. The white is elegant and aromatic, with pronounced acidity that easily combined with a wide variety of foods. Some characteristics of these are: Mantinia, Adoli Earth, Gris de noir, Chardonnay, Malagouzia. In red, stand out the New Oak, Private Collection, Morpheus (Mavrodafni) and Gerontoklima Rematia (Vertzami), which combine pure fruit and spice aromas while expressing the unique characteristics of Achaic soil. Vision of the people of Vineyards Antonopoulos was always exploring the dynamics of indigenous varieties of Greece. The Greek vineyard, which combines all the elements necessary for producing world-class wines, still inspires, having the sole purpose of creating separate products, which highlight the characteristics of origin.
