History

John and Sue Ward moved from the hustle and bustle of Sydney to the wilds of the South West of Western Australia 17 years ago.

Over this time they have been very hands on vignerons and wine makers which has given them considerable experience, and practical knowledge in the wine industry

Sue and John Ward take delight in being committed and passionate grape growers and winemakers and enjoy showing people the new grape varieties grown on their vineyard to visitors to their spectacularly sited cellar door.

Awards

Angelicus 2008 Pinot Noir has won a second Silver Medal in another prestigious Wine Show in the Eastern States, namely the 2010 Macquarie Bank Royal Sydney Wine Show.

The medal was awarded in the “ other red wines single vineyard category” which is a tough class especially as it encompasses other red grape varieties that are less subtle. An elegant wine such as Pinot Noir can be lost, but obviously the quality of the 2008 Angelicus Pinot Noir shone through!

The 2008 Angelicus Pinot Noir also scored a Silver Medal at the Cowra Wine Show amongst some great company.
