Hospitality, Retail and Wine Club Manager


Hedges Family Estate, a historic Red Mountain winery is seeking a self-starter with a passion for wine, driven to succeed, and has exemplary customer service skills. This position will be responsible for the growth of the wine club and constant maintenance of all marketing and social media aspects. The candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and possess the ability to work at a high level in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected. Responsibilities: Expand, promote and manage direct to consumer and Wine Club programs Work closely with the national sales manager who will help guide our national sales team in building up the club through alternative channels Act as on-site manager of retail and wine club logistics Process wine club shipments and daily orders in collaboration with logistics manager Principal contact for winery, direct to consumer and wine club events Manage inquiries from consumers, wine club and local and surrounding community businesses Manage tasting room lead, host visitors and represent winery at off-site events as needed Works with general manager on image and feel of the tasting room, winery and winery grounds Oversee Orderport point of sale system database and ensure all products, SKUs, contacts, pricing, media, etc is updated as needed Manage wine club inventory to ensure flawless execution of semi-annual wine club shipments and other campaigns Ensure the tasting room and private residence is stocked with current release wines Work closely with on-site estate managers to execute on-site and off-site events Manages communication calendar with tasting room staff and estate managers Works with printing services for printed material for clubs Edit/proof direct to consumer and wine club email content and newsletters Work in collaboration with marketing team manage the company’s social media profiles and presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant and create content in line with brand messaging Builds and executes direct to consumer, wine club and community promotions Manage the daily and weekly retail reports in collaboration with on-site bookkeeper Work in collaboration with marketing team to train tasting room staff Work closely with on-site logistics team in managing the website store. Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: At least 3 years’ experience in winery DTC sales, marketing, or club management Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or similar field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Proven experience and proficiency in POS systems, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office A strong, emotionally intelligent team player who is capable of understanding, inspiring and engaging others. Demonstrate the professional demeanor and attitude of a team player who is flexible, clear, and provides hands-on interaction. An innovative thinker who adds to and supports a culture of creativity, positivity, growth, and teamwork.
