Assistant Wine Club Manager


Stoller Family Estate is seeking a new member of our DTC Team to deliver the highest level of hospitality and customer service to all members and guests, while consistently attaining wine sales and new member acquisition. Additionally, this role will provide administrative and logistical support to the Wine Club Manager. Key Job Responsibilities - Serve as a face of the Stoller Wine Club, working the Legacy/Library room, tasting room floor and events on a regular basis, to provide exceptional member and guest experiences - Consistently be a top producer of new wine club sign-ups and wine sales - Host tours and private tastings as needed - Assist with day-to-day responsibilities and administration, including accurate data entry, new member outreach, referral credit tracking and fulfillment, anniversary gifting, member updates, filing, etc - Assist with wine club processing and logistics, which may include call campaigns, organizing packing and shipping, handling special requests, tracking and re-routing packages, and member follow-up - Assist with wine club event planning and execution Qualifications/Skills - Two or more years’ experience in winery hospitality or DTC operations - Experience in winery or related sales preferred - Experience with MS Excel, Outlook, POS/Inventory systems, and UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship Manager - Familiarity with direct shipping laws and other wine shipping protocol - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Must be highly organized, with analytical skills and great attention to detail - Ability to take ownership for your role and work effectively with minimal supervision and good follow-through - Enthusiasm for wine and the lifestyle that accompanies it - Friendly, professional, and fun demeanor - Ability to interact well with a range of contacts – public, industry partners, vendors, co-workers, management - Flexibility – must be able to adapt well to change, and have good problem solving skills - Regular working schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays - Long and irregular hours during peak seasons and/or special events - Moderate to heavy physical work on occasion - Standing for long periods of time - Ability to lift 50 pounds
