Every year, the International Pinot Noir Celebration takes place right in the heart of the Oregon Wine Country. It is an incredibly diverse event that welcomes visitors from all across the globe to celebrate the classic Pinot Noir in all of its glory. This is a weekend event that starts on a Friday morning and ends on that Sunday at noon. There are a plethora of events that all wine and food lovers will enjoy during this time. There are 2 dinners that take place outdoors, a winery lunch that takes place after a vineyard tour, as well as tastings of many varieties of Pinot Noir and seminars. This event is in its 31st year and it takes place during the last full weekend of July. In addition to getting to taste all of these varieties of Pinot Noir, you can also take in some top quality cuisine from some of the best chefs in the region. Pretty much the entire event, aside from the vineyard and winery tour, takes place on the gorgeous campus of Linfield College. There are three different types of tickets that guests can pick from: one for the entire event (“The Full Weekend”), Saturday night (“Salmon Bake”), and Sunday afternoon (“Passport to Pinot”). This number includes around 140 industry representatives that come from local wineries. Another 550 people also show up to the Sunday event, the Passport to Pinot.

 

 

The International Pinot Noir Celebration is a one of a kind event that anyone who loves wine and food should experience at least once in their lives.
